We report a case of the giant cell tumor of tendon sheath involving the finger in a 45-year-old woman who presented with asymptomatic, firm, 1¡¿1 cm sized nodule on the left middle finger.
Histopatholoigcally, the nodule was surrounded by hyalinized connective tissue and was composed of pleomorphic monouclear cells with round and spindle-shaped nuclei admixed with mutinucleated giant cells that resembled osteoclasts.
After surgical removal of the lesion, no recurrence was observed. (Kor J Dermatol 1994 ; 32(5) : 939~943)
